Sub-processors

Overview

A “sub-processor” is a third-party company that processes personal data on our behalf in connection with the HOApro.us service. We maintain a strict, minimal sub-processor list and evaluate all vendors before use.

HOApro.us currently uses two (2) sub-processors. We will update this page and notify affected customers before engaging any new sub-processor that handles personal data.

No AI Companies Are Sub-processors

HOApro.us does not use OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Microsoft Azure OpenAI, or any other artificial intelligence or large language model service to process user data or generate documents. Our document generation is entirely template-based and runs within the Cloudflare Workers environment. No user data is sent to any AI sub-processor.

  • Cloudflare Pages: Hosts and serves the HOApro.us web application front end.
  • Cloudflare Workers: Executes serverless API and document generation logic.
  • Cloudflare D1: SQLite-based relational database storing user accounts, subscriptions, and document metadata.
  • Cloudflare R2: Object storage for generated PDF and DOCX document files.
  • Cloudflare DNS & CDN: Domain resolution, content delivery, and DDoS protection.

Services Used

  • Stripe Billing: Manages subscription plans, recurring billing cycles, and invoice generation.
  • Stripe Payments: Processes credit and debit card payments. Card numbers are never stored on HOApro.us servers.
  • Stripe Webhooks: Delivers real-time billing events (subscription created, payment failed, subscription cancelled) to our backend at /api/webhooks/stripe.

Sub-processor Change Notifications

We will update this page and provide notice to affected customers before adding or replacing any sub-processor. Customers who require contractual notification rights may request a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) by contacting legal@hoapro.us.
